Weather Forecast This Week Showers and Thunderstorms Ahead

Spring is giving way to early summer with a mix of warm days and unsettled weather. This week’s forecast calls for several chances of showers and thunderstorms, especially in the afternoons and evenings. If you have outdoor plans, it’s wise to stay prepared for sudden changes in weather. Temperatures will vary from the high 80s to the low 40s at night, so layering is key. How to Prepare for This Week’s Weather

  • Plan outdoor activities for the morning or early afternoon when the chance of rain is lower.

  • Check local radar and weather updates frequently, especially before heading out in the afternoon or evening.

  • Dress in layers to adjust to the temperature swings from near 90 degrees to the low 40s at night.

  • Keep rain gear accessible including waterproof shoes and umbrellas.

  • Be cautious on the roads during rain and thunderstorms, as wet conditions can reduce traction and visibility.

  • Protect sensitive plants and outdoor furniture from heavy rain and wind gusts.

This week’s weather offers a mix of warm days and wet conditions. While showers and thunderstorms may disrupt some plans, knowing when to expect them and how to prepare will help you stay comfortable and safe. Keep an eye on the sky and enjoy the fresh air between the rain showers.
