What to Expect Tonight and Wednesday

Tonight will start mostly cloudy but gradually clear up, with temperatures dropping to around 23 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will come from the south at 6 to 10 mph, which may make it feel colder than the thermometer shows.

On Wednesday, the weather will become more unsettled. There is a 40% chance of rain showers after noon, turning into a mix of rain and snow after 4 p.m. Temperatures will rise to near 40 degrees, but gusty west winds up to 21 mph will add a chill to the air. Snow accumulation is expected to be minimal, so while roads may get slick, major disruptions are unlikely.

Wednesday Night Through Thursday

Wednesday night brings a 30% chance of snow showers before 7 p.m., with mostly cloudy skies and lows near 24 degrees. Winds will ease to 5 to 10 mph and become light and variable, which may help reduce wind chill.

Thursday will be partly sunny with a high near 46 degrees. A slight chance of showers will appear after 1 p.m., but the main story will be the breezy conditions. South winds will blow between 10 and 20 mph, with gusts reaching 34 mph. These gusts could cause some minor issues like blowing debris or make driving more challenging, especially on open roads.

Showers and Snow Moving Into the Weekend

Thursday night will bring steady showers with a 100% chance of precipitation and lows around 43 degrees. This rain will continue into Friday morning, transitioning to snow showers after 1 p.m. The high on Friday will be near 46 degrees, but the mix of rain and snow could make for slippery roads and reduced visibility. The chance of precipitation remains high at 90%.

Friday night holds a 50% chance of snow showers before 1 a.m., with mostly cloudy skies and a low near 20 degrees. The cold temperatures overnight could lead to icy patches on untreated surfaces.

Saturday will see a 30% chance of snow showers after 1 p.m., with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 36 degrees. The cooler temperature means any snow that falls is more likely to stick around. Saturday night continues with a 40% chance of snow showers and lows near 26 degrees.

Sunday and Monday Outlook

Snow showers will remain possible on Sunday with a 40% chance throughout the day. Temperatures will hover near 37 degrees, keeping conditions cold but manageable. Sunday night will also have a 30% chance of snow showers, with lows dropping to around 19 degrees.

Monday will bring a chance of snow showers again, with partly sunny skies and a high near 30 degrees. The cold air will persist, so be prepared for chilly mornings and potentially slick roads.
