Afternoon and Tonight: Clouds Give Way to Snow

This afternoon will remain mostly cloudy with temperatures near 29 degrees Fahrenheit. A northwest wind of about 6 mph will calm down as the day progresses, making it feel a bit less chilly despite the cloud cover.

Tonight, snow will begin mainly after 3 a.m., with temperatures dropping to around 17 degrees. The wind will be calm, but there is an 80% chance of precipitation. Expect less than an inch of new snow accumulation, enough to create a light dusting on roads and sidewalks. This early snowfall could make morning commutes slippery, so plan accordingly.

Tuesday: Heavy Snowfall and Rising Temperatures

Tuesday brings more significant snowfall, mainly before 3 p.m., with a 100% chance of precipitation. Snow showers may continue after 4 p.m., but the intensity will likely decrease. Temperatures will rise to near 34 degrees, and a light east wind will blow.

New snow accumulation could reach around 4 inches, which may impact travel and outdoor activities. Roads could become hazardous, so it’s wise to check local traffic updates and consider delaying non-essential trips. If you need to be outside, dress warmly and wear waterproof boots to stay dry.

Tuesday Night and Wednesday: Snow Showers and Partial Sun

After Tuesday’s snowfall, there will be a slight chance of snow showers before 7 p.m. and again after 1 a.m. Tuesday night will be mostly cloudy with lows near 18 degrees and a northwest wind around 5 mph. The chance of precipitation drops to 20%, so snow showers will be light and scattered.

Wednesday will bring partly sunny skies with a high near 36 degrees. Winds will be calm in the morning but shift to the southwest at about 6 mph in the afternoon. This slight warming and sunshine may help melt some of the snow, but patches of ice could remain in shaded areas.

Wednesday Night and Thursday: More Snow Showers

Snow showers are likely again after 1 a.m. Wednesday night, with mostly cloudy skies and lows around 24 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 60%, so expect intermittent snow that could add a light layer to existing snow cover.

Thursday will see snow showers mainly before 1 p.m., with a high near 33 degrees and an 80% chance of precipitation. This means the snow could be steady in the morning but taper off by afternoon. It’s a good day to keep an eye on weather alerts if you have outdoor plans.

Thursday night will be partly cloudy with temperatures dropping to about 5 degrees. The cold night will freeze any melted snow, so be cautious of icy spots on roads and sidewalks.

Friday Through Sunday: Mixed Conditions with Snow Chances

Friday looks mostly sunny with a high near 27 degrees, offering a brief break from snow and clouds. However, Friday night will be mostly cloudy with lows near 16 degrees.

The weekend brings a chance of snow showers each day, with highs near 36 degrees on Saturday and 33 degrees on Sunday. The chance of precipitation is 30% on Saturday and 40% on Sunday, so snow showers will be scattered but possible. Nights will remain cold, with lows around 21 degrees Saturday night.
