Monday and Monday Night: Fog and Showers

The week starts with patchy fog before 9 a.m., which can reduce visibility on roads and make morning commutes tricky. After the fog lifts, expect mostly cloudy skies with a high near 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will be light, starting from the east at about 5 mph and becoming calm by mid-morning.

At night, there is a 50% chance of showers mainly between midnight and 4 a.m. Temperatures will drop to around 33 degrees, with winds shifting from east to south at about 6 mph. Precipitation amounts are expected to be light, less than a tenth of an inch, but wet roads and slick spots could develop.

Tuesday and Tuesday Night: More Fog and Cooling Temperatures

Tuesday morning will again begin with patchy fog, this time before 11 a.m. The day will remain mostly cloudy with a high near 41 degrees. Winds will shift to the west at 3 to 5 mph, bringing a slight change in air flow.

Tuesday night will be mostly cloudy with temperatures falling to around 29 degrees. Winds will calm down, creating a still and chilly night. This drop in temperature sets the stage for the precipitation expected later in the week.

Wednesday and Wednesday Night: Rain Turning to Snow

Wednesday brings a high chance of rain with a 90% probability of precipitation. Temperatures will hover near 40 degrees, with east winds between 3 and 7 mph. This rain could cause wet conditions throughout the day, so plan accordingly if you need to be outdoors.

Wednesday night will see rain likely before 10 p.m., then a mix of rain and snow between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m., followed by a chance of snow after 4 a.m. Temperatures will drop to around 26 degrees, increasing the likelihood of snow accumulation overnight. The chance of precipitation remains at 60%, so expect slippery roads and possible travel delays.

Thursday and Thursday Night: Clearing Skies and Cold Temperatures

Thursday will be partly sunny with a high near 38 degrees. This break in precipitation offers a chance to clear away some of the snow and rain from the previous days. However, temperatures will remain cool.

Thursday night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 24 degrees. The cold night could cause any remaining moisture to freeze, so be cautious of icy patches on roads and sidewalks.

Friday through Sunday: Mixed Rain and Snow with Cooling Trend

Friday will bring a mix of rain and snow likely, mainly after 1 p.m., with a 70% chance of precipitation. The high temperature will be near 38 degrees, and skies will remain mostly cloudy. This mix could create slushy conditions on roads and sidewalks.

Friday night continues with a 50% chance of rain and snow, with temperatures dropping to around 28 degrees. The weekend will maintain this unsettled pattern:

  • Saturday: A 30% chance of rain and snow, mostly cloudy, with a high near 36 degrees.

  • Saturday night: A 30% chance of snow, mostly cloudy, with a low near 24 degrees.

  • Sunday: A 40% chance of snow, mostly cloudy, with a high near 32 degrees.

This gradual cooling trend means snow accumulation is more likely toward the weekend, especially overnight and early Sunday.
