* WHAT...Lake effect snow. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6
inches in the most persistent lake snows. The snow will shift
north into the Watertown and Fort Drum areas through this
afternoon and this evening. Winds shifting to the northwest will
then push snow bands back across the Tug Hill and into Oswego
County after midnight tonight.
* WHERE...The Eastern Lake Ontario Region.
* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact this evening's commute and the morning
commute on Thursday.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Lake effect snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If
traveling, be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and
visibilities.
