Monday Afternoon: A Mix of Snow and Rain

Starting around noon, expect snow showers before 1 PM. As the day goes on, these are likely to switch over to rain showers. You'll see plenty of clouds overhead, with temperatures reaching nearly 38°F. A moderate south wind at 11 to 15 mph will provide a brisk wind chill.

With a 70% chance of precipitation, those heading outdoors should be ready for wet conditions. On the bright side, only light snow accumulation is expected—just a dusting, if anything. This means major travel disruptions are unlikely, making it easier to get around.

Monday Night: A Shift to Colder Conditions

As the sun sets, rain and snow showers might linger until about 10 PM. Expect temperatures to drop significantly to around 16°F by the evening. Winds from the southwest at 7 to 10 mph will calm after midnight, shifting to come from the west.

The chance of precipitation remains at 50%, but significant snow accumulation is unlikely. Most areas should see little to no snow buildup, keeping roads clear for night travelers.

Sunday: An Expected Snowy Day

Looking ahead to Sunday, snow lovers will be pleased. Snow is likely to begin after 1 PM, with cloudy skies and high temperatures reaching around 20°F. Gentle winds from the northwest at 7 to 9 mph will add a brisk touch to the afternoon.

With a snow chance of 40%, new snow accumulations of about one inch are possible. This light snowfall can create a picturesque winter landscape, ideal for cozy walks or enjoying a hot drink by the fire.

Sunday Night: Cold and Mostly Cloudy

As Sunday night sets in, some snow may continue until about 1 AM, with a significant temperature drop to around 4°F overnight. Northwest winds will remain light at about 6 mph.

The chance of precipitation decreases to 30%, with any new snow accumulation expected to be less than half an inch. If you're heading out late, make sure to bundle up—it's going to be particularly chilly!

M.L. King Day: A Slight Chance of Snow Showers

On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the weather could provide a pleasant change with partly sunny skies. However, there's a chance of snow showers developing, especially in the afternoon. The expected high is around 17°F, with winds increasing gently from the west at 5 to 10 mph.

Snow shower chances are estimated at 40%. Be sure to check the weather before heading out, particularly if you have plans for community events or outdoor activities.

Monday Night: The Cold Continues

As Monday night rolls in, conditions will calm a bit, but it will remain cold, with temperatures dropping to around 0°F. While there is a slight chance of snow showers, it will likely be a chilly and quiet night.

With a low 20% chance of precipitation, any additional snow accumulation appears minimal, so early morning plans on Tuesday should not face significant weather issues.

Tuesday: A Break in the Clouds

On Tuesday, the forecast suggests mostly sunny skies, which will feel refreshing after the cloudiness of previous days. High temperatures will hover near 13°F, making for a crisp day that’s great for errands or outdoor activities.

There is no significant chance of precipitation, so enjoy this opportunity to soak in the winter sun!

Tuesday Night: A Frigid Evening

Expect partly cloudy skies on Tuesday night as temperatures fall to around -2°F. While not ideal for outdoor activities, it is a great chance to stay warm indoors with a good book or a movie night.

Midweek: Keeping an Eye on the Conditions

On Wednesday, the weather pattern shows partly sunny skies, with high temperatures around 14°F. There remains a small chance of flurries throughout the day. At night, expect mostly cloudy conditions and lows near -1°F, so those in colder areas should prepare to bundle up.

Later in the Week: Fluctuating Temperatures

Thursday brings more cloudy skies, with temperatures inching toward 23°F during the day. As night falls, expect a drop back down to around 14°F. By Friday, the weather may combine clouds and sun, with a projected high nearing 29°F.
