Thursday night will continue with showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 2 a.m., then a chance of showers afterward. Temperatures will fall to around 56 degrees with a light southwest wind. Rainfall could increase to between a quarter and half an inch in some locations.


Cooler Temperatures and Lingering Showers Friday and Weekend


Friday starts with a chance of showers before 11 a.m., followed by a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., then a chance of showers after 2 p.m. The day will be mostly cloudy with a high near 67 degrees and a northwest wind of 3 to 6 mph. The chance of precipitation drops to 40%, signaling a slight break in the wet weather.


Friday night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 51 degrees, setting the stage for a cooler weekend.


Saturday will be partly sunny with a high near 76 degrees. Showers are possible after 2 p.m., with a 30% chance of precipitation. The afternoon sun may provide some relief before the next round of rain.
