Thursday Brings Snow Showers and Cold Temperatures

Thursday starts with a chance of snow showers, mainly before 11 a.m. The sky will stay mostly cloudy, and temperatures will hover around 29 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect a northwest wind at about 6 mph, which will add a crisp chill to the air. There is a 40% chance of precipitation, with new snow accumulation likely to be less than one inch. This means roads and sidewalks could be slick in the morning, so take care if you’re heading out early.

Thursday night will clear up a bit, becoming partly cloudy with temperatures dropping to around 14 degrees. Winds will calm down, making for a cold but still night.

Friday and Saturday Offer Slightly Warmer Days with Variable Conditions

Friday will bring mostly sunny skies and a noticeable rise in temperature, reaching near 43 degrees. Winds will be light and variable in the morning but will shift to a south direction at around 6 mph in the afternoon. This shift could bring a bit of warmth and relief from the chill of the previous days.

Friday night, however, will turn mostly cloudy again, with lows around 35 degrees. Winds will pick up from the south, blowing between 9 and 14 mph, with gusts reaching as high as 25 mph. This increase in wind speed could make it feel colder than the thermometer shows.

Saturday will remain mostly cloudy with a high near 45 degrees, continuing the trend of slightly warmer days. However, Saturday night brings a 50% chance of snow after 1 a.m., with temperatures dropping to about 19 degrees. This means you might wake up Sunday to a fresh dusting of snow.

Sunday Through Tuesday: Cold Days with Mixed Snow and Rain Chances

Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a high near 24 degrees, a drop from the previous days. The night will stay mostly cloudy with lows around 6 degrees, making it one of the coldest nights this week. Dress warmly if you plan to be outside.

Monday offers a break with mostly sunny skies and a high near 23 degrees. The night will be partly cloudy with lows around 10 degrees, still cold but manageable with the right layers.

Tuesday brings a chance of snow during the day, with partly sunny skies and a high near 36 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 30%, so keep an eye on the sky if you have outdoor plans. Tuesday night will see a mix of rain and snow, with mostly cloudy skies and lows around 25 degrees. The chance of precipitation increases to 40%, so roads could become slippery again.

Wednesday Looks Brighter and Milder

By Wednesday, the forecast improves with mostly sunny skies and a high near 40 degrees. This day will feel milder compared to the cold nights and snow chances earlier in the week. It’s a good day to get outside and enjoy some fresh air without worrying too much about snow or freezing temperatures.
